The English club could be keen on the Dutchman this summer

Memphis Depay knows he will have to leave Barcelona if an offer north of €20 million arrives. As revealed by SPORT on Friday, the club have told the Dutchman's lawyers that he's on the transfer market because he is not guaranteed minutes at Camp Nou next season.

The idea is to bring in a decent fee for Memphis, although the coaching staff like him and don't want to see him undervalued in the market. Therefore, he could continue if no satisfactory bids are made. Tottenham have shown an interest in him and asked about him in talks for Clement Lenglet. It could be an option because Memphis, if he leaves, wants to play in the Champions League.

The Dutch forward only has one year left on his deal at Camp Nou, so Barça plan to renew his contract if he stays. There has been a lot of debate about his future at the club, but if Dembele stays and Raphinha and Lewandowski are signed, the best solution for everyone is an exit.

Memphis has always wanted to stay. He made a financial sacrifice to join the club, turning down other offers, and now is an attractive option for other teams because his salary is assumable. He has also been linked with Sevilla as part of the Kounde deal, but Spurs may be a better opinion and Juventus have also been mentioned.

However, Tottenham have already signed Richarlison from Everton this summer and with Son and Harry Kane also at the club, Memphis would not be guaranteed minutes.
