Todibo 'caught' in Germany as he closes in on Schalke 04 move

Jean-Clair Todibo's loan move to Schalke 04 will be confirmed in the coming hours. The Barcelona defender is already in Germany to finalise the move and was 'caught' arriving at the airport in Dusseldorf, with Bild releasing the images.
Todibo will try his luck in the Bundesliga after failing to earn a regular spot in the team at Camp Nou. Recently, Germany legend Lothar Matthäus assured that Todibo was the best centre-back he's seen in action.
The Frenchman has played just two league games this season: four against Getafe and 73 against Sevilla. He also played 90 minutes in the Champions League against Inter Milan last month.
He will join Schalke on loan until the end of the season, leaving Barça with just three centre-backs for now: Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Samuel Umtiti.
The Uruguayan Ronald Araujo, who plays for Barça B, is likely to be the fourth choice for the Catalans if no new signing arrives in January.
