Per La TdT, in the squad there is division over the Barcelona wage drop request

Three Barcelona players will not sign the burofax from the squad to the club in which the players are rejecting a negotiation of the possible pay cut that the club have proposed because of the coronavirus-caused economic crisis. The board want to delay some salary payments and pay them later when the financial situation is improved.

It has provoked division at the club, with many not willing to negotiate with Bartomeu's board on this matter and others open to the idea. The squad and B team have planned a response showing their discomfort with this 30 per cent pay cut, but not everyone has signed it.

Per Catalunya Radio, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong and Clement Legnlet have not signed the burofax saying the players will not accept the pay cut. Those three, conscious of the economic situation the club is in, are willing to negotiate.
