The coach hasn't selected Rabiot since Antero Henrique told him that the midfielder would never play for PSG again

PSG manager, Thomas Tuchel, had admitted that he's worried about the situation caused by Adrien Rabiot after the player decided not to sign a new contract with the French champions. The midfielder has since been banished from the first team picture.

"You know the situation we had last summer. We were looking for a 'number six' and didn't find one. We're now missing Adrien (Rabiot) and Lass (Diarra, who rescinded his contract and retired from football) so yeah, we're feeling a little nervious," admitted Tuchel in his latest press conference.

It's possible that the coach would like to call upon the services of Rabiot for the final six months of his contract but the word from the top is that the midfielder will never put on the PSG shirt again. Tuchel even asked for both sides to remain professional as he tried to ease the tension surrounding Rabiot's decision to leave the club.

The French star hasn't been involved since the end of December when he called off contract talks. FC Barcelona are optimistic about bringing him in next June once his current deal expires.

Antero Henrique, the director of football at PSG, has publicly said that Rabiot won't play for the club again after turning down all their contract offers.
