Thomas Muller says Barça can't compete with Bayern's intensity
The German gave a damning assessment of the current Barça side
Bayern Munich's Thomas Muller says Barcelona don't have the intensity to compete with Europe's top sides anymore.
Muller scored on Wednesday as Bayern beat Barça 3-0 to condemn them to a place in the Europa League in the new year.
"Barça can't deal with our intensity," Miller said. "Technically they have it all, great players, technically and tactically. but they can't compete with the intensity of top-level football."
Bayern have now beaten Barça 8-2, 0-3 and 3-0 in their three meetings since 2020.
"Everything flows against Barça," added Muller, who scored his 50th Champions League goal in Wednesday's win at the Allianz Arena.
"We played well. It wasn't perfect, of course. When you play Barça, who always press high, you always find space for the wingers. Sometimes we didn't have the right timing. In the second half, we could have scored more, but it was fun."
