The former Arsenal and Barcelona hitman spoke about Xavi and the current situation
Barcelona’s situation in Europe is leaving nobody without an opinion. The Catalans are out in the group phase, once again.
One of those who analysed the situation was Thierry Henry. The former Barcelona player confessed that “the volcano would erupt” if another coach was in charge than Xavi. “At the end of the day, results always count and that is what we lived recently in England with the goodbye of Steven Gerrard,” said Henry.
“You’re at Barca, that’s why they judge you. There’s no time for anything. Barca have bet it all on the Champions League and need that money.”
Henry did say that Lewandowski “had a big chance in Munich and we all know it”, while he agreed Barcelona should have had a penalty in Milan.
