Umtiti's has begun running again and all signs point to the centre back being available following the next set of international fixtures

FC Barcelona's French centre back, Samuel Umtiti, continues along his road to recovery following the injury he picked up on the 28th September. With the threat of potentially needing surgery fresh in his mind, Umtiti has begun running again at the Ciutat Esportiva de Sant Joan Despí. This is another step forward in his rehabilitation process and according to RMC Sport, the defender could be back in action as soon as next month.

At the moment in France they've ruled out the chance Umtiti will be selected for their upcoming fixtures against Holland and Uruguay, on the 16th and 20th of November respectively, yet they believe he'll be available for selection following those matches.

Umtiti, however, hasn't set any return dates himself. This is what the club has recommended to him as well. They just want the centre back to focus on building up his strength at the training ground whilst his fellow countryman, Clement Lenglet, partners Gerard Pique in defence.
