Everybody is talking about the photo of Ivan Rakitic boarding a flight to Paris alongside his wife. As with most things on social media, it didn't take long for this to go viral and for speculation to go into overdrive about the reasons behind the Croatian's trip. SPORT have spoken to the person who took the photo in order to find out more details.
The photo wasn't taken this Tuesday but rather last Sunday. The Croatian wasn't travelling with just his wife but also his two daughters, so it's less likely to be a 'business' trip. It makes more sense that it was simply a family holiday before the midfielder is forced to return to preseason training at Barça. And the photo was taken in Madrid, not Barcelona.
