The English newspaper says Barceloan want the German midfielder

After getting told 'no' by Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona will have to look at other possibilities in the transfer market this summer.

With 100 million euros saved by Griezmann committing his future to Atletico Madrid, Barça are already being linked with new targets.

English newspaper The Sun claim on Friday that Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is one of the players they will move for.

The report explains that the Catalan club are interested in pursuing the German international as Andres Iniesta's replacement.

Gundogan, who is in Russi with the German national team, was an important part of the City side which won the Premier League under Pep Guardiola this past season.

He signed for the English club in 2016 for 20 million euros from Borussia Dortmund and The Sun say Barça would have to pay 50 million to sign him.
