The reward Ronald Koeman could give to Barca B players
The Dutch coach may choose to give minutes to some of the youngsters
It seems Barcelona’s season is over, with nothing left at stake, Pedri going on holiday and Ter Stegen having an operation. But that’s not the case. They still have to play Eibar on Saturday and Ronald Koeman may turn to Barca B to fill out his squad.
Garcia Pimienta’s players were eliminated from the play-offs after a great season this weekend by UCAM Murcia. The Blaugrana B will keep training until the end of the season though.
Koeman may use Alex Collado, Konrad de la Fuente, Nico Gonzalez, Inaki Pena, Tebas and Arnau Comas in the game, having called them into his squad before at tims this season.
Eibar are already relegated so have nothing at stake either. There is a chance that Barca could come fourth, if they lose and Sevilla win. With the team’s lack of ambition against Celta it would be interesting to see if Koeman gives the B team youngsters a chance now.
