Memphis Depay is on the exit ramp from FC Barcelona. The club need to reduce their wage bill to register Jules Koundé and the latest summer signings, and the Dutch striker, who is on the market, is likely to exit the club shortly. The player is willing to move, but he will only do so with the letter of freedom.
Juventus are the club most interested in his services. The Italian club already have an agreement in principle with Memphis, if the Dutchman disentangles his contractual situation with Barça, he will commit himself to the Vecchia Signora for the next two seasons, with an optional third season. According to Tuttosport, Depay will earn around 5.5 million euros per year, excluding bonuses, at Turin.
The next few hours will be key for Depay's future. Juve have already told the player that they will not wait forever and have other options lined up. The bianconeri have looked at Marko Arnautovic, a veteran at 33 years old, but with less experience at the highest level.
