The two former Barcelona players are still yet to make their debut for Everton, although both are edging towards a return to fitness

Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are both experiencing horrible starts to their lives at Everton. Neither player has been able to make their debut for 'The Toffees' so far and both are unavailable for the match against Leicester City on Saturday. Marco Silva did suggest that the players might return after the latest round of international fixtures.

Silva said this in his press conference: "Yerry Mina and Andre Gomes are okay. Gomes trained this week and is progressing as well as we hoped. They will both be available for the match against Crystal Palace after the next (international) break."

Mina arrived at Everton with a foot injury he picked up during the World Cup. It was thought that he'd recover quite quickly but another knock in training has delayed his return.

In regards to Andre Gomes, he suffered a muscle injury on Barça's US Tour and was told he'd spend two months on the sidelines. Those two months have now passed but Everton don't want to rush him back before he's 100% ready.

Andre Gomes is on a season-long loan deal with Everton whilst Mina signed for the English club in a €30.5m deal.
