The Portuguese winger fell out of favour and never secured a place in the team

If nothing changes, Francisco Trincao will be the next to leave Barcelona. The Portuguese winger will go back to his homeland, to play for Sporting Lisbon. The clubs were negotiating a loan with an option to buy, but the Portuguese press salon Saturday that they may buy him outright.

A Bola and Record say that Sporting will pay 10m euros for 50 per cent of Trincao’s rights, and that he will sign a five year deal there, while Barcelona have a buy back option if they consider it opportune, for sporting or financial reasons.

In the Algarve they are ready for Trincao to come, with coach Ruben Amorim hoping that he arrives as soon as possible.
