Apart from the likes of Pedri and Gavi who are established in the first team, here are the other kids

In Barcelona’s squad for the US tour, there are five youngsters who will get the chance to impress their coach alongside stars like Lewandowski and Aubameyang. They are Marc Casado, Ez Abde, Arnau Tenas, Ale Balde and Pablo Torre.

EZ ABDE - 20 years old

The winger was used by Xavi at the start of his reign before the inter signings arrived. Could go on loan to keep growing but will get some game time in the US.

ARNAU TENAS - 21

During last season he trained with the first team as back up to Ter Stegen and Neto. He’s kept goal for Barça Atletic, and for now his future is uncertain because Inaki Pena has returned from loan.

ALEJANDRO BALDE - 18

A bad injury stopped his progression with the first team, where he had some games for Ronald Koeman. Without a clear back up for Jordi Alba, Balde will try to convince Xavi that he has the steel to be part of the squad. He’s an attacking left back and good technically. Needs to mature in some tactical senses.

MARC CASADO - 18

A centre-midfielder, less well known for some fans. Arrived in 2016 from Damm and will be part of Barça Atletic this season. Since his arrival he’s played in the youth teams and he’s also a Spain international. Xavi wants to have a good look at him on tour.

PABLO TORRE - 19

Arrived this summer from Racing Santander, where he showed he’s one of the great promises of Spanish football. Attacking midfielder, who will play for the B team but already showed good moments against Olot in the friendly. Xavi is convinced he could be with the first team in no time.
