The date Barça begin preseason training next season has been revealed
The squad will return to training on Sunday 14th July to undergo medicals before heading off for friendlies in Japan and the USA
FC Barcelona have confirmed that preseason training will begin on Sunday 14th July. This will be the case for all players except those involved in the Copa America.
The first thing the players will undergo are medicals and fitness tests to see what condition they are in after a summer break. The work out on the pitch will behind on the 15th July.
After a week in Barcelona the squad will fly out for their Asia Tour where they'll face Chelsea and Vissel Kobe on the 23rd and 27th July respectively.
JAPaN and the united states
The first stop will be the 'FC Barcelona Japan Tour 2019 Presented by Rakuten', the club's main sponsor. They will first take on Chelsea in the 'Rakuten Cup Supported by Scalp-D' on the 23rd at the Saitama Stadium, Tokyo. Afterwards they'll meet Andres Iniesta and David Villa's Vissel Kobe on the 27th at the Estadio Noevir, Kobe.
And to close their preseason Barça will have two other friendlies in the United States, both against Italian side Napoli. Those games are set to take place on the 7th and 11th August in Miami and Michigan respectively.
