The curious messages between Brazil stars Neymar and Coutinho
The Brazilian compatriots both starred in the demolition of Argentina and Barcelona would love to link them up
Neymar, Barcelona and Brazil star, is good friends with his compatriot Coutinho, the Liverpool player the Blaugrana wants to sign. They combined to good effect in Brazil's 3-0 win over Argentina, both finding the net as they sent their country top of the World Cup qualifying group for Russia 2018.
They have been sharing curious messages on Instagram, showing off their friendship, something that Barcelona could use to convince the Liverpool man to join the club.
As shown by our photo, taken at the MIC youth football tournament on the Costa Brava, they go back a long way. That photo was from 2008.
The pair both turned to Instagram and posted the same picture of them playing for Brazil against Argentina, with Coutinho writing "since we were little" and Neymar writing "for many years".
