The commitment of Ivan Rakitic to the MSN trident
For Rakitic it's not annoying to be in the shadow of the trio, as he explained in this interview with France Football
Ivan Rakitic spoke to France Football in an interview and he mentioned the MSN - Leo Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar.
Rakitic accepts that the trident are the first thing that spings to mind when you mention Barcelona.
"It's something deserved. It's not like Father Christmas decided to say to Leo or Ney, 'Come on, take it, you will be the best'. Or to Luis, 'Come on, I'm giving you the Golden Boot.' They have worked very hard to persue this. If tomorrow I had to run 10 kilometres more so they can offer their best performances, I would do it with a lot of pleasure."
For Rakitic it's not annoying to be in the shadow of the trio because "it's normal. There's nobody that plays better football than them. My satisfaction is to help them win individual awards."
In another part of the interview Rakitic explained the differences between playing on the left or the right of the central midfield. "Neymar prefers to look for one one ones," while Messi prefers to combine "and appear to touch the ball".
