The clause that could stop Barcelona joining the European Super League
According to TV3, new president Joan Laporta put a clause in saying fans can vote
The Super League house of cards is tumbling. Chelsea and Man City have pulled out and according to TV3, Barcelona fans could stop the club from joining the competition if they decide so at the next assembly.
Joan Laporta is said to have added that clause as part of the club’s contract with the competition to allow fans to have the last word.
Barcelona supporters therefore, if it gets to it, may well be able to decide if the club takes part in the controversial tournament.
