Ansu Fati came off the bench to set up two goals and score another in 4-1 victory

Barcelona picked up three precious points at Anoeta on Sunday but the best news of the night was perhaps the performance of Ansu Fati off the bench.

The young forward needed a game like this. It will boost his confidence. He came on at 1-1 and set up two and scored another within 14 minutes to help Barça turn the game on the head as they beat Real Sociedad 4-1.

A crack

The game was tied when Ansu appeared. First of all, he produced an exquisite backheel to set up Ousmane Dembele to help Barça restore the lead after Robert Lewandowski's early opener had been cancelled out by Alexander Isak.

But he still had more presents to dish out. Minutes later, he set up Lewandowski for the Polish striker's second goal of a productive night. And Lewandowski returned the favour to set up Ansu late on.

Ansu took his goal in the 78th minute really well when one on one with Alex Remiro. It was his first goal since May 7 at Real Betis. Without doubt, there are reasons to believe he's getting back to his best after injury hell for two years.
