The Barça shirt for the 2021/22 season will be inspired by the club's badge
St George's cross and the senyera make up the upper part of the shirt
The Barça shirt for the 2021/22 season already has some initial designs which suggest it will be revolutionary. It will, of course, be claret and blue but Nike are set to test the waters with a design based on the club's badge.
According to information revealed by Mundo Deportivo, the main change will be in the upper part of the shirt. The left will have the traditional Creu de Sant Jordi (St. George's cross) with the right having the Senyera. Controversially, both sides would remain in claret and blue rather than red and white for the cross and yellow and red for the Senyera.
The centre of the shirt would be reserved for the sponsor with the bottom part having the more common vertical stripes.
