Pelayo Morilla, a player that Barca have scouted for two years, is wanted by Man City
Pelayo Morilla is the most promising player in Sporting Gijon's academy and Barcelona have been interested in him for two years. However Man City are also now in the hunt for him and they are a hard team for Barca to beat.
Sporting renewed the right winger's contract for five seasons but Barca launched a new bid this summer to try and bring him into their Juvenil A team. However they weren't able to, with Sporting demanding a big fee.
Real Madrid are also interested but Man City are ahead. According to the Mirror, the 17 year old player is a target for Pep Guardiola. He played in the Copa del Rey against Rayo Majadahonda and started agaisnt Numancia. He made his debut with in Liga 123 with 10 minutes at Alcorcon.
