The goalkeeper considers the Clasico his favourite match to play in

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen spie on Instagram today on behalf of car brand Cupra and answered some fans’ questions.

“The best moment of my career? Without doubt when you win you have the best feeling,” said the keeper. “In my case, my best moment was when we won the 2015 Champions League in Berlin. Until now, that’s the best moment I’ve lived through in football.”

He was also asked about his favourite game. “My first game as a professional was one of the best games I’ve had. It was incredible because you start a career in the professional league and it’s a unique moment, like playing in the Clasico. In general I always enjoy being on the pitch. Apart from those two games, there’s nothing else that stands out right now.”

Ter Stegen has taken some positive things from the corona lay off.

“Sometimes when you have so much liberty you don’t value what you have,” he said. “Normally we can go out, shopping, in the city. Now Spain has restrictions nearly everywhere and you value the basic things of life much more. To be with family, to cook, simple thins that make you think about what you really have. To go wherever, go to the beach, these are things I really miss, like playing football, but right now you value the basic things in life.”
