Ter Stegen: This victory has given us a lot
The German stopper made big saves for Barca as they kept their 19th clean sheet
Marc André Ter Stegen was key and the German stopper was once again voted man of the match. He saved his team from a draw with brilliant saves and was particularly happy at the end of the match.
"We are all very happy, this victory has given us a lot," he told DAZN. "This is one of the most complicated places to go in the league and we suffered until the end."
Ter Stegen also praised the defensive work of the whole team, and the help of his teammates to stop the most dangerous attacks: "We defended with everyone, even inside the goal and on the line. We have to win these games and keep working. We're very happy to have managed to keep another clean sheet."
Asked about the disallowed goal for Iñaki Williams, the German was very clear: "It was far away, I didn't see it. But for this type of situation we have the VAR. The referee has a complicated job and in the end it's his decision."
