The German stopper has fully recovered from his knee injury and hopes to be available for selection against Granada

Marc-André ter Stegen has fully recovered from the knee problem which kept him out of the club's most recent matches. He claimed the 'Barça Player 2019' award for his values and showed them again when talking about his former coach, Ernesto Valverde.

"I'm back with the group. I'm excited to return," he said after collecting the award. On Valverde the stopper said: "First of all, I'd like to give all my thanks to Ernesto. He's done a great job over these few years, respectfully in the light of how things were, so I thank him for all he did."

Before moving onto the new coach, Quique Setien, who makes his debut in the Barça dugout this weekend. "We've got a new coach now who is trying to change a few things. Logically, everyone has their own style of football and their own way of expressing their ideas. We'll listen to them and try to successfully carry them out."

Despite the upheaval in the coaching department, ter Stegen insists the objectives for this season haven't changed. "We're going to fight for every trophy. We want to win everything and give 100%. Granada are up next and it's a match we have to win."

Ter Stegen is still awaiting the green light from the medical staff to play again but he feels he is ready to return.
