"There's no problem between us, the opposite: we help each other," the keeper said

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen spoke in a press conference on Tuesday ahead of Wednesday's game against Argentina for Germany.

Ter Stegen is set to play in the friendly having not played in either of the two recent Euro 2020 qualifiers with his country. It comes amid a battle for the No.1 spot with Manuel Neuer but he says he doesn't feel the pressure.

"I don't feel pressure," he said. "I just want to be at my best in the game. We want to be at our best. Despite the players we're missing, we will have a lot of quality on the pitch."

On his rivalry with Neuer, he added: "We're professionals. Everyone wants their place in the team and gives everything for that. Being professional also means having a good relationship with others. There's no problem between us, the opposite: we help each other. There's respect.

"Manuel knows I was referring to my situation, so I don't think we need to clear anything up. We speak, we have a professional relationship and that will continue."
