The French club are demanding a lot of money but Barça aren't willing to match the terms presented to them

Negotiations between Barça and PSG over a deal for Neymar remain open but have reached an impasse according to sources close to the conversations. The French club are willing to let Neymar leave but their demands is making it impossible. The latest response was for three players and a considerable amount of money. As things stand a deal for Neymar looks unlikely but PSG have also informed Barça that Real Madrid are pushing to wrap up a transfer themselves.

Barça believe PSG are being unnecessarily tough and are trying to force them away from a move for Neymar. Nelson Semedo won't be included in any potential swap, especially with how low the French side are valuing him in the deal. Barça are also unaware of what terms Madrid have offered but what's clear is PSG don't want to see the Brazilian back at the Camp Nou.

Barça remain locked in talks as they try to make the terms more reasonable and are talking to the player too. The felling at the club is Neymar will need to make a personal plea to PSG if things are to move forward quickly. With Madrid also talking to the French giants, it makes the room for negotiations even more difficult. We're entering the end game for the summer's biggest transfer.
