The player is reluctant to sign a new deal at Barça

Tottenham Hotspur are the latest club to join the long list of sides who are interested in acquiring the services of Barcelona academy graduate Ilaix Moriba.

According to 'Calciomercato' journalist Daniele Longo, Nuno Espíritu Santo's side are pushing hard to secure the signing of Ilaix, who is reluctant to sign a new contract with the Camp Nou club. In fact, the report states that the North London club have already agreed to meet the player's personal terms, and that all that is missing is an agreement with FC Barcelona.

Ilaix's current contract is due to expire in June 2022. Given the player's reluctance to extend his stay at the club, Barça are looking to cash in on the player now before he leaves on a free transfer next summer. However, Barça are not willing to sell the player on the cheap, given the promising future that surely awaits him.
