Spotify positioned as best sponsor for Barça's next kit

The music streaming service might end up on the front of Barcelona's shirt

Barcelona are working on getting a new sponsor for next season for their first team kit, after their deal with Rakuten expires. Per Mundo Deportivo, Spotify are the biggest option at present.

The streaming platform run by CEO Daniel Ek, has previously spoken to Arsenal about a deal.

Barcelona are still an attractive brand despite the club’s recent years of hurt. Spotify could pay between 30 and 60 million euros a year, depending on various situations.

Barcelona have 136 million followers on Facebook, 118 on Instagram and 71 on Twitter. Plus 9 million on Tik Tok and 12m more on YouTube. 

Spotify currently has 381 million users, 45% of which pay to use the service.
