David Alaba's name has been linked with FC Barcelona for years now. However, according to 'Sport Bild', Bayern Munich have no plans to sell the popular left-back any time soon.
The same newspaper reports that Alaba's father is working on a way to increase his son's value at Bayern as he looks to sign his last big contract. The full back's existing deal is running down and it remains to be seen whether he wants to play out the rest of his career at Bayern or try a new challenge.
Barça have been linked with Alaba, Junior Firpo and two other Bundesliga stars in Max and Rousillon. Movement is expected to take place this week to select one of those to alternate with Jordi Alba for the left-back role. However, it appears clear that it won't be Alaba.
