Spanish Supercopa 2021: Barcelona squad for Real Sociedad semi
Koeman has included B team midfielder Ilaix in the squad once again
Barcelona have named their squad for this week's Spanish Super Cup ahead of Wednesday's semifinal against Real Sociedad in Cordoba.
Ronald Koeman has included defender Ronald Araujo in the squad. The Uruguayan pulled out of Saturday's game at Granada after feeling pain in his thigh during the warm-up. Samuel Umtiti took his place. It's not clear If Araujo will be fit to face La Real but he's been included for now.
Elsewhere, midfielder Ilaix Moriba is called up again. The midfielder was on the bench against Granada at the weekend but did not get on. Fellow B teamer Konrad de la Fuente is not included this time.
Ansu Fati, Gerard Pique, Sergi Roberto and Philippe Coutinho are all still injured, but Clement Lenglet returns from suspension.
Barça squad: Ter Stegen, Neto, Iñaki Peña, Dest, Araujo, Lenglet, Umtiti, Mingueza, Jordi Alba, Junior, Pjanic, Busquets, De Jong, Riqui Puig, Pedri, Dembélé, Messi, Griezmann, Braithwaite, Trincao and Ilaix.
