Inter coach Luciano Spalletti praised his in demand centre-back

Inter coach Luciano Spalletti praised the performance of his Slovakian defender Milan Skriniar, who impressed in Tuesday's Champions League draw against Barcelona.

The centre-back's been linked with a move away from Inter, with Barcelona and Real Madrid tipped to be among the clubs interested in him.

"If it's Barcelona, they will have too pay €100 million and if I am them I would pay a €20m tip on top," Spalletti said after the game at the San Siro.

"And if I'm Real Madrid, the [€100m] with a €40m tip -- that is how highly I rate Skriniar."

DESERVED DRAW

DESERVED DRAW Mauro Icardi's late leveller earned Inter a point against Barça, who looked to have won the game when Malcom handed them an 83rd minute lead.

Despite seeing his side dominated -- Barcelona had 27 shots -- Spalletti felt they deserved the draw.

"We had character," he added. "Mentally we were very good, we were always available. We deserved to score, because of the emotional reaction we had to going behind. It was a deserved goal because we were strong.

"Look at the goal. After scoring, Icardi grabs the ball and all the players get back to the centre circle. That says a lot about how we think.

"Barça showed us that they're superior, but we wanted to compete until the last minute."
