Simeone's enigmatic response when asked about Setien's use of Griezmann
The World Cup winner came on in stoppage time as Barça were held by Atletico
After Barcelona's 2-2 draw against Atletico Madrid the media focus after the game was on two points: another setback that leaves Barça's title hopes in tatters and the surprising introduction of Antoine Griezmann in the 90th minute.
Griezmann, a €120 million signing from Atletico last summer, has now started three of the last four games on the bench and Quique Setien only brought him on in stoppage time at Camp Nou on Tuesday.
Atletico coach Simeone was asked by Movistar if he was surprised by the lack of action given to the France World Cup winner. His response was brief and enigmatic: "No words." ("Sin palabras")
There are different ways of reading his answer. Some took it as criticism of Setien's management of the player that shone under him Atletico for so many years.
However, others believe he was just being respectful. More think he was surprised -- and negatively -- at how Griezmann has been dealt with by Setien.
