Barça have changed their stance and are now willing to selling Aleix Vidal and Munir in a double deal

There could be a change in plans when it comes to Barcelona's squad next season. When it looked as if Munir was going to stay at the Camp Nou in order to convince Ernesto Valverde he could be a useful member of the team, his departure now appears more likely. Barça have received an offer from Sevilla for the striker which is simply too good to turn down. The decision belongs to Munir. Does he stay at the club and try to force his way into Valverde's plans or does he go to Sevilla where he's likely to start every week?

The latest bid from Sevilla arrived a few days ago as they were negotiating for Aleix Vidal and now a double deal, involving Munir, has been agreed. Barça were originally only willing to let Vidal leave but the offer for the duo was so high that a transfer was agreed. Vidal has already given his 'OK' to the move but Munir wants a few days to consider his options.

Munir spoke with Valverde and the coach reiterated that he was part of his plans for next season but was free to make any decision he wants. The biggest concern for Barça is the fact Munir only has 12 months to run on his existing contract and hasn't shown any interest in signing a new deal.

The departure of Munir, if it goes through, doesn't impact Paco Alcacer's situation. Barça are negotiating an exit for him too as they feel with Suarez, Messi, Coutinho, Malcom and Dembele they are covered in the forward positions. This could change next year when signing a striker might be the number one priority.
