Clement Lenglet will play for Barcelona next season, where he will compete for a position with Gerard Pique and Samuel Umtiti after completing a fine season with Sevilla.
Barça believe he will join the club and, even though it's not confirmed yet, say his move to Camp Nou looks good.
The announcment of centre-back Lenglet as a Barça player will not happen soon. He is currently on holiday and wants to disconnect after a long season.
The French defender wants to leave Sevilla in the right manner and to sit down and talk with them to thank them for the opportunities they have given him.
Barça are happy to wait until July 1 to complete the deal -- when they are in the new financial year -- and Lenglet will sign a five-year deal with the club.
The Catalan club are also hopeful of paying €35 million plus €3m in add-ons to Sevilla to avoid having to pay the buyout clause. If they can't reach an agreement, though, they will pay the clause.
