Quique Setien was happy with Barcelona's "deserved" win against Getafe at Camp Nou on Saturday but criticised the referee's leniency with the away side's fouling.
Antoine Griezmann and Sergi Roberto goals helped Barça into a 2-0 lead but Getafe set up a nervy final 20 minutes when Angel Rodriguez, a target for the Catalan club, reduced the arrears.
Barça held on to seal three points thanks to a 2-1, but Setien was not impressed with certain elements of the game.
"Getafe made 29 fouls and we end up with one more booking than them [3-2 in bookings]," he said in a post-game news conference.
"We have to take risks to beat the press. When we managed it, we were fouled. It ruins the rhythm of the game. I was complaining to the fourth official because I thought the referee should have been more severe with [Getafe]."
However, he was happy with the win against the team sitting third in La Liga and who arrived at Camp Nou in fine form.
Setien added: "We knew it would be a tough game. They've won four games in a row before today. They're aggressive and intense in the way that they press. But we managed the ball well and were really good for an hour. The win was deserved."
