The Barça coach spoke about "sad" possibilitiy of games being played without fans

Coronavirus is affecting society and sport on a day-to-day basis. The virus has installed a collective psychosis, with a number of sports events around the world already called off. It could also have an effect on Barcelona. Despite the fact it's been assured the Champions League game vs. Napoli will go ahead as normal, the game could yet be played behind closed doors -- as other games involving Italian teams in Spain will be.

A few days ago, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp was asked about the issue and his response went viral:: "I am just a guy in a baseball hat that hasn't shaved for a few days. I don't see the value of my opinion on this subject. That's what the specialists are for."

SPORT asked Barça coach Quique Setien about Klopp's answer and the state of play regarding coronavirus: "His answer was extraordinary. I dedicate myself to football, as he does, and I am not sure what value our opinion has on an issue which we don't know much about. There are many more competent people to talk about it than us. I don't understand these questions, they're things that we can't control nor do we completely understand."

In addition, Setien was later asked about the possibility of playing behind closed doors.

He said: "I played a game behind closed doors as a player and, even though we won, it was a little sad. The atmosphere the supporters generate, especially at home with your own fans and the push they give you, is really important.

"But we have to pay attention to what the necessary authorities say. And if they feel we have to play a game, or games, behind closed doors, we will have to do it."
