Setién confirms that Ousmane Dembélé could play against Bayern Munich
The Barça man reveals that Dembele is available should he be needed against Bayern
Ousmane Dembele could return against Bayern Munich after nine months out injured. The Barça winger travelled to Lisbon with the squad and Quique Setien admitted that he's available for selection, just like everybody else.
"It's great that he's in the squad," admitted Setien. "He's available to play a few minutes. He's spent almost a year out injured but we believe he's capable of coming off the bench and making a difference."
Dembele injured himself on the 27th November 2019 in the match against Borussia Dortmund. The player has endured a long recovery process as he looks to finally get his Barça career kickstarted.
Dembele was de-registered from LaLiga but is still available for selection in the Champions League. The opposite is true of his replacement this season, Martin Braithwaite, who can't be used in Europe.
