The coach admitted there have been tough moments but says he's enjoying himself

Barcelona coach Quique Setien assured on Saturday that "at no moment" has he planned to quit despite the disappointment of losing La Liga to Real Madrid and the criticism that's followed.

"The day I arrived I said I was going to enjoy myself until the last day," he said in a press conference. "I am still enjoying myself despite the circumstances and I never thought it would be easy. Losing is always an option and you have to overcome it.

"I am not experiencing anything I haven't experienced before. At no moment have I felt that I wanted to leave. It is true I would like to be happier because of the results or because [we had won] the league. We would all be much happier ... but I have the same enthusiasm and desire as ever."

However, Setien did admit the challenge of managing such an experienced bunch of players that have won so much in the past.

"There are situations that are new, that's always the case when you take over a new club," he added. "Somethings are the same, but others are different.

"The players here, this team, have been winning everything for the last 15 years and the management [of these players] is totally different from other teams.

"There have been some situations that have been difficult to resolve, but I feel nothing out of the normal in a dressing room like this one."
