Serie A side Napoli still interested in Barcelona left-back Junior Firpo

The defender is in the shop window but Barça won't entertain a loan offer

There is a big chance that Junior Firpo leaves FC Barcelona at the end of the season.

The left-back is not in Ronald Koeman's plans and the club are looking for a replacement. At the same time, they're looking for a club willing to sign the former Real Betis defender.

One of the clubs most interested in signing him is Napoli. The Italian side want to sign him on loan with an option to buy. Barça are not keen on the operation and would prefer to sell as soon as possible.

Junior's market value is around €20 million and there is also interest in the Premier League.

Napoli's interest is not new. They were about the clubs who sounded out a potential move last summer, too. At the time, Barça's stance was similar to what it is now: they didn't want to accept a loan move without a guarantee of a future transfer.
