According to Barcelona, the Espanyol forward called him a "black shit"
The derby between Espanyol and Barcelona ended furiously. Both teams argued on the pitch and in the tunnel afterwards, according to Gil Manzano's report.
Two of the protagonists were Espanyol forward Sergio Garcia and Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti. They were arguing on the pitch and Gerard Pique separated the pair, taking his team-mate to the dressing room.
The war between both players continued into the tunnel. Sergio Garcia, according to Barcelona sources, called Umtiti a "black shit", which is what provoked the French defender into such a rage - and his team-mates who heard it.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona ask the Spanish FA to look into the event - as Espanyol did last week with Gerard Pique and Sergio Busquets' quotes. It's evident that this is a far more serious matter.
