"Having Aubameyang in the squad is a luxury for us," the midfielder said

Sergio Busquets celebrated Barcelona's "effectiveness" at Mestalla. The Blaugrana beat Valencia 4-1 thanks to the clinical nature of their finishing in the final third.

Barca reconciled themselves with the back of the net and showed that they have many weapons and arguments to improve their position in the league table and to qualify for the round of 16 of the Europa League.

"It was a good game in general," Busquets told Movistar after the game. “We were very effective, especially in the first half, and that gave us the necessary command and control of the game. In the end, no matter how well you play, what matters is scoring.”

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored a hat-trick, with the third credited to him after Pedri's shot brushed off his back, and Frenkie de Jong was also on target in the win.

“Since he arrived he has been working very well," Busi said of Auba. "He arrived after several months of not playing, but little by little he is having more minutes. Hopefully he can continue helping us as he has done today. Having him in the squad is a luxury for us."

Despite the valuable victory, Busquets made it clear that the Barça dressing room will not sit back after climbing into the top four in LaLiga.

“We must face every day with the mentality of winning," the captain added. "We want to keep climbing positions and get as high up the table as possible. And, above all, to finish the season in the Champions League places.”
