Sergio Aguero returns from break early to start Barcelona career

The forward was at the training ground on Friday to do some individual work

Sergio Aguero started life as a Barcelona player on Friday, three days earlier than had been planned as he brought an early end to his time off.

Aguero was at the club's training ground to train alone, with the rest of the first-team squad in Germany, following just 19 days off after Copa America success with Argentina.

He will not be involved in Saturday's friendly against Stuttgart, therefore, but several Barça players are in line for their first appearance of preseason in that game.

Uruguay's Ronald Araujo, Spain duo Jordi Alba and Sergio Busquets and Denmark's Martin Braithwaite all returned to training this week and could be involved in Germany.

However, in addition to Aguero, Pedri, Mingueza and Eric Garcia are all still absent at the Olympic Games with Spain, while Lionel Messi and Emerson Royal are not yet back in training.
