Sergino Dest visits the US Consulate in Barcelona
The Dutch-born American right back became the first American to net for Barca
Sergiño Dest arrived this summer in Barcelona from Ajax for 21 million euros and he has done well to date. He became the first American to play for the club and later the first to score, as he netted against Dinamo Kiev in the 4-0 Champions League win.
Koeman handed him his debut on October 4, off the bench against Sevilla but playing at left back.
This Thursday Dest went to visit the US Consulate, who published a tweet about his appearance.
"A pleasure to have Sergino Dest in the Consulate today, the first American player to play (and score!) with Barca and he has also debuted for the national team," wrote the Consulate on Twitter.

Dest is not the only American at the club though. His compatriot Konrad de la Fuente is doing very well for the youth and B teams and, appearing against Kiev from the bench, became the second American to play for the club, behind Dest.
