Barcelona have confirmed the extent of the injury suffered by Sergi Roberto against Olympiakos in Tuesday's goalless draw in the Champions League. In a statement, the club have said he will be out for five weeks.

"The Catalan midfielder was replaced against the Greeks just before the break in the Georgios Karaiskasis and test have confirmed that he has a hamstring strain in his right leg and will be out for around five weeks," Barça said.

Sergi Roberto injured himself at the end of the first half when he was fighting for the ball with Vadis Odjidja-Ofoe. After giving a foul away -- and earning a booking -- he stayed down and had to be replaced by Gerard Deulofeu.

He will miss this weekend's game against Sevilla and games later this month against Leganes and Juventus. Barça then have three home games in a row against Real Murcia, Celta Vigo and Sporting Lisbon, the latter two falling around the five-week mark.
