Sergi Roberto says he's increasingly comfortable at right-back

Sergi Roberto had a fine game at El Molinon as Barcelona won 5-0. The midfielder turned right-back spoke about his new position after the game.

He said: “Each time I find myself enjoying it more playing in this position. Bit by bit I am growing accustomed to it and learning, as much in the attacking aspect as the defensive. I’m happy, definitely.

“Despite a big result, it was not an easy game. I we knew it would be a very intense clash and Sporting put pressure on from the start. It was hard for us to get into it and the state of the turf didn’t help our football much. Luckily we scored two goals quickly and that helped us be calm in the second half.

“They are three very important points for us. I;m happy because we’ve achieved the objective and, like I said, today’s game was not anything easy.”
