The right-back's move to the Premier League side could be confirmed on Tuesday

Nelson Semedo's Barcelona exit will be official on Tuesday. According to The Athletic, the Portuguese right-back passed a medical with Wolves on Monday and will sign a five-year-deal before being presented.

Wolves will pay around 35 million euros for Semedo -- dependent on add-ons -- which will allow Barça to sign a new right-back and possibly Eric Garcia, who's in the final year of his deal at Manchester City and can leave for free next summer.

Semedo didn't train with his Barça teammates on Monday as he had permission from the club to finalise his move to the Premier League side.

Barça paid 30 million euros for Semedo to Benfica in 2017. During three seasons at the club, he never managed to make the right-back position his own, with Sergi Roberto often preferred.

Semedo was always open to leaving the club and came close to joining Atletico Madrid last year before finally moving to Wolves.
