Samuel Umtiti, the big news in Barca's squad list to face Lyon
The French defender has been called up to face his former side on Tuesday in the UCL
Samuel Umtiti’s return to the Barcelona squad is the big news ahead of the clash with Lyon on Tuesday in the Champions League.
The Frenchman was one of 21 players called up to head to France to play in the last 16 of the UCL.
Umtiti has been taking conservative treatment on a knee injury for months, since November 24, which was the last time he played.
Meanwhile Inaki Pena, Jokin Ezkieta and Wague have also been called up to travel to France tomorrow.
Valverde will have to cut two players out of the squad for his match day 18.
The bad news is Thomas Vermaelen’s calf injury, keeping him out of the list.
