Samuel Umtiti’s condition is unknown. Little information about him is being released. So his words to Olympique Lyon’s TV channel came as a surprise. The French defender is looking forward to Barcelona playing his former side in the Champions League on Feb 19 at the Groupama Stadium and on March 13 at Camp Nou.
Big Sam has virtually missed the whole season, playing just 10 games, but he said: “I will do everything possible to be ready for the Champions League game against Lyon at the Groupama Stadium. I’m really looking forward to reencountering the Lyon fans.”
