Samuel Umtiti has a return date to rejoin Barca squad
The Catalan giants will get Umtiti back at the end of December after his knee treatment
Barcelona medics examined Samuel Umtiti on Sunday and have set a concrete date for his return. It will be December 30 that the player rejoins the squad.
Umtiti, who is in Qatar taking treatment on his knee cartilage injury, has avoided surgery by opting for slower but more conservative solutions.
The club released a statement Sunday saying that he would be back in a week’s time, to continue his treatment in Catalonia.
Arthur, Luis Suarez, Lionel Messi, Malcom, Munir and Arturo Vidal have permission to return a bit later to training, on January 2. The rest go back on the 30th.
There will be two sessions, one at 10.30am and one at 6pm.
