Samuel Umtiti is not listening to offers. The Frenchman does not want to leave Barcelona and wants to become a key part of the team again. Quique Setien's arrival has convinced him that it is possible.
Umtiti has gained time under the new coach and now is no longer the third centre back in the squad. He's real competition for Clement Lenglet, to partner Gerard Pique.
Umtiti feels comfortable in the city and in the dressing room. There are other French players there - Dembele, Griezmann, Lenglet - but he's also respected by the heavyweights.
Man United have come for him in the past but their interest diluted months ago. He said no at the time and his bad knees have not convinced them. Barcelona also wanted 50 million for him before the coronavirus and no club reached that figure. It won't happen now.
Umtiti has a contract until 2023. He knows his situation is not easy - and Barca want to sign a centre back this summer. He is on the market, but he backs himself to get back to his best and earn his place again.
